Applicants must possess vast content knowledge and a strong background in standards-based education, instructional design and delivery, assessment techniques, and classroom management.
Qualification include: a valid PA teaching certificate in the area of Business, Computer, and Information Technology or Computer Science; expertise in introductory and advanced business curriculum topics, computer programs and educational applications; knowledge and understanding of best instructional practices and strategies to ensure high student engagement and rigor that creates a strong learning culture; efficient in utilizing a learning management platform; excellent oral and written communication skills.
The successful candidate will provide instruction to students within the Business Department curricula. Course offerings may include but are not limited to: Financial Literacy & Planning, Computer Science I and II, Video Game Design, Information Technology and Middle School business and computer technology classes.
